what does it mean?
So I am out in Memphis today and end up striking up a conversation with this guy. He is filling out his bracket and we start talking about the tournament. He mentions that he played college ball and asked where.

His answer: BYU.

Here BYU has been in my thoughts all week and I meet a former player inMemphis Tn. Its got to mean something.

Did you ask him what his level of belief in BYU winning was? Could be a major factor.

Considering he was only aware his team was not in the NCAA tournament and didn't know they were in the NIT, I don't know if he is an accurate guage of belief.

He played in the late 90s. Said he didn't play much partly because he refused to go on a mission. Apparently not required but highly encouraged.

Also said the altitude is a huge issue when you aren't used to it. He said it almost killed him when he first got there.
