Just about to post this. He probably sucks, but he is still light years better than Lebo.

I agree, and with the academic standards challenges at Stanford to deal with when it comes to recruiting he may be a really good fit for Tulane.

He would be another great name brand coach to add to the roster in the AAC.

He won the NIT last season, he can’t be too awful.

He also won the NIT in 2011-2012. And took them to Sweet 16 two seasons ago. I think he'd make a fine coach for Tulane if they could manage to lure him in.

Would be interesting, especially given his NC connections from his years at Duke.

He won the NIT twice and made a Sweet Sixteen, I'd say he's a marked improvement from the current situation.

There are posters on this message board that would be an improvement over Lebo. At the very least most wouldn't do any worse.

Tulane's AD just said they want a guy that is actively going to take a top job if offered. In other words, a social climber.

He may be someone more interested in building a long term home. He's a good hire, but I'm not sure we'll talk to him.

He would have them in the Elite Eight (of the Pac 12 tournament) in 2 years.

Stanford made the tourney 14/15 years prior to his arrival.
He made the tourney once.
