We schedule Wyoming, etc. to fill our schedule. We don't have to schedule USC, Miami, etc. to fill our OOC games since we are in the strongest conference in the nation and CONSTANTLY play top 25 teams. That analogy has been shot full of holes so many times it's pathetic.

As far as "Southern Wins, Ole Miss doesn't", kinda easy to say when the majority of your schedule is filled with substandard teams. Face it, without Memphis and USM, the C-USA doesn't hold water to other football conferences. Our first losing season in a decade was last year. That many years of success in the SEC isn't a "failure", except in your eyes and the rest of the jealous non-bcs teams.

Hiring a replacement that is "experienced" only in drunken altercations and head butting women is pathetic.

Being a doormat for that mighty conference of yours is pathetic.

Thinking that your football team is actually competitive is pathetic.

Only being able to throw conference affiliation and attendance at a football team that is better than yours to try and justify your own existence is pathetic.

You have no success in the SEC except for other teams successfully wiping their feet on you....and don't give me any of this Co-Recreational Department/Western Division/ South League/ Runner up to the champion crap. To all USM fans. Remember, when you are around this thinking, and talking 24 hours per day, a person has a tendency to become myoptic in their view. Just for the record, virtually anyone who is truly a fan of athletics, and does not live in Mississippi, already knows better. I admire USM more than MSU, Ole Miss added together. We have been placed at a cultural disadvantage, because during the war we were with the south, and Morgantown, on the line of Penna. fought for the North, so until this year there has been a definitive bias in our legislature towards WVU. Hard to believe,but true. Believe me, we Marshall fans, and many fans where ever, including here in the Carolina's where I live, know the truth. You see as an example, WVU has scheduled Miss. State since we will be playing USM. Now I know who is the toughest opponent, but by the time the press gets through with this in West Virginia, you would think WVU would be playing Southern California, and Marshall University is playing Mistake. So just for the record, we understand.
