Good point Danny. I didn't know that Mincy left Louisana Tech for Florida last May.

http://www.onlygators.com/05/11/2015/flo...-to-staff/

Jordan has risen quickly up the ranks of assistant coaching! 28 and a lead assistant @ Florida.

With Hall, Davis, De La Rosa, Edwards, & Walker, the front court next season should be pretty solid, as long as Hall and Davis take another large step. Hall mentally and Davis production/skill wise.

Yes - Jordan went from La Tech to Florida with Michael White.

Jordan is going to be a D1 coach at some point. Probably sooner than any of the other KSU grads on benches around the country. And I think a lot of them are really good.

I'm going to be holding my breath on this one. I think Dulling has the chance to be a very special player for us. Really hope to see him signing his LOI in the fall.

EXHIBIT A in what our lack of budget does to us. I'm sure a substantial pay raise.

Don't blame him a bit for taking the extra cash, just wish it wasn't within the MAC.

I wish Dre the best of luck. Promoting Mike McKee to assistant, not sure that is the best idea.... A fresh perspective from outside of Kent is what I would think would be best at this point for the program, as they seem to be stalled/stale.

A KSU alum (Haynes), leaves for a team within the MAC, again (Mincey), same team (Toledo). I thought that there was a report and huge publicity released by KSU Athletic Department about KSU Men's Basketball being the priority of the entire KSU Athletic Department moving forward (wasn't that just 2 weeks ago?)? Nothing like all talk and no action.....

FYI - Mincy didn't leave KSU for UT. He left for College of Charleston and then ended up at UT.

Flash Fan 1: I've never heard of half of these guys and the ones I do know are way past their prime.

Flash Fan 2: Most of these guys never had a prime.

A.D.: The fact is we lost our senior point guard to free agency. We haven't won the MAC Tournament in God knows how long, and we're losing the recruiting battle to our arch rival. Obviously it's time for some changes.

Flash Fan 2: This guy here is dead!

A.D.: Cross him off, then!

RE: 2016-2017 Men's Basketball
The time to prioritize Kent State men's basketball was long, long ago. It seems like it is a real mess right now, the way players come and go. I actually long for the days when a head coach was so successful that fans had to worry about his leaving for greener pastures.
