The chair did a great job. He had specific answers re the teams that made it and didn't make it.

Yep, and 5 wins vs the Field, the win at SMU pushed Tulsa over the top, a well respected win.

The AAC was well respected by the committee. UConn and Memphis proved that 1-6, the level of competition was very competitive.

I'm not mad Tulsa made it but they shouldn't have. Just like Monmouth, those bad losses late to the same team should have done them in. Oh well, hopefully they'll go to the Final Four like VCU or Mason.

Gottlieb has always picked against UC in the tourney....I don't know what he has against UC but he hates us. Tulsa I get, being an Oklahoma State guy but not sure what the deal is with UC.

Anyway, he sucks.

Tulsa is going to put Doug in his place when the tourney starts, the more he talks Tulsa down the more crow he'll be forced to eat.

Maybe he's also mad cuz we beat OSU who's in the dumpster and is stuck with a terrible coach.

On a related note: Tonight on Oklahoma sports news Gottlieb was mentioned as a possible replacement for Travis Ford. We play them again next year I think. Imagine if we beat them again...

Gottlieb is one of only a few on CBS that actually follows college basketball year round...I'm glad whenever he speaks out, even if I don't agree with his opinion...as he almost always has facts to back up his opinion.

No different than Dickie V blasting the Committee on Tulsa's invite when Tulsa got blasted in the first round of their conf tourn by 22 pts.

Dickie V has about as much knowledge of the teams not named UNC / Duke / or Michigan St as a crab. He is clueless about how good anyone else really is, and often overstates how good those first two teams are.

Goatlube has a lot of knowledge, but he will parse his data to match his biased opinion.

The Gottlieb/Credit Card stuff needs to go away. 20 years ago, he paid a price for it, and has repeatedly talked about being that stupid kid and apologized for it. So please only go after him about being a stupid adult and not apologizing for it.
