Leave it to the USF fans to get all excited about the Tourney credits that everyone else brings home for them... It happens this time every f'ing year.

no doubt...just unreal
I hope Cuse loses their first game badly. That's total BS.
My son goes to Syracuse, so full disclosure. Syracuse is just basketball crazy. I've never been to a Cincinnati, Memphis or UCONN basketball home game, so forgive my ignorance on those venue's. However, watching a basketball game at Syracuse is just nuts. The Carrier Dome is filled, it's loud, the parties start hours before the game..it's crazy.
However, Boeheim needs to go. After the scandal, grades issues and this year alone, it's time. I know this is his last year, and he's a heck of a coach, but he will sacrifice the dignity of the school for a W. That's just not the way to get W's. He really should have been fired last year, but they were ranked #1 for many weeks. I'm curious who they will get as their coach and how they will do. When 'Cuse left for the ACC, the fans are struggling for a rival. Georgetown is their natural rival and always will be, however, they are trying real hard to create one with Duke. They have the T-Shirts and everything for sale on campus etc. They miss the Big East.

No sorry...the meltdown if Temple eliminated Nova in the tourney would be ******* insane
Villanova is always down for a good choke job.
Exactly and if it were at the hands of an inner city rival their fans would be lined up on the Ben Franklin bridge
I'd pay to see that.

But congrats to Tulsa.
They were in fact the last at large team in the field. Had Memphis won today, our off SMU had been eligible they would have been out.

Oh I agree... And that's not a swipe at Tulsa. But the field is a set amount and getting someone else in means that someone else gets bumped out.
But again, congratulations to Tulsa.

Basically I think the committee doesnt care about the conference tournaments anymore.
Which is fine by me.

It kind of sounds like if Memphis got it, the the AAC would have had 5 in. Tulsa is on the play-in line. If Memphis won, they would have likely swapped us out for a 12 seed, but I dont think we could have been in a play-in game.
Tulsa was the last team in, so if Memphis had got in, Tulsa would have been out.

Congrats Tulsa
I'm pulling hard for you vs Michigan and will be watching.
Give em' heck
I hope you guys show up St. Joe's . A -10 Scrubs.
A10 got as many teams in as the SEC
I don't think the A10 was a scrub conference this year.
AS-10 is a good conference. 5 or 6 in last year?

going by the seed list, Wichita State and Tulsa were the beneficiaries of SMU and Louisville being ineligible

Probably... In place of Tulsa. But losing to Tulane was the kiss-of-death.

No question. Personally though, I don't see them getting past Memphis, who obviously came ready to play for a change when the tournament started.

I would respectfully disagree. Tulsa's non-conference wins over Wichita State (another 11 seed at-large) & Iona ( who beat Monmouth to win the MAAC auto-bid) were big reasons why Tulsa was chosen over the other last bubble teams. I don't think Houston had a strong enough non-con resume to get in.
