4 teams in the tourney and UH in the NIT. Pretty good for a year in which our best team is ineligible. I hope this perks some of our conference mates up. It may not be the old Big East but this is still a quality conference. Pulling for UCONN to make the Sweet 16!

Nope. We were never getting an NCAA at-large bid.

Tulsa played a tough schedule. They beat 5 tourney teams and played three more. Castiglione said it was top 50 wins coupled with beating SMU on the road that got TU into the field.

I'm shocked that Tulsa got in -- but happy. I think they are going to be very dangerous and will beat Michigan.

The selection committee baffles me -- Temple should have been a lock last year and somehow avoided the play-in game this year. I think winning the regular season title outright, with SMU competing, did it for us.

They certainly had a shot, especially if Tulsa gets in.

I really think our cap would have been the #1 seed in the NIT. I just think the NCSOS and the USF loss were too much to overcome. But who knows.

Temple has the toughest draw by far, Tulsa has a good draw with Michigan. UConn and Cincy should do well.

Yeah.

I like UC's draw...albeit it's a long trip (we seem to get shipped West frequently) and both Mick's and Huggins' teams have found ways to lose in the first round before.

But it's spring and hope springs eternal.

One thing is for sure though, Mick has to quit watching that final play in 3OT against UConn and get his head into the NEXT friggin' game.

I called it. I knew that they would be screwed.

Syracuse and Vandy are joke picks.

At least, Tulsa was a replacement for them.
