Akron is, but on the road against Creighton(Makes no sense)

Makes perfect sense. It's all about the $$$ and the BJs will sell tickets.

RE: NCAA selection thread
The NIT has always discriminated against non-majors but that's because the big conferences bring the most fans to New York should they make it that far. It's more like the bowl system than the NCAA's.

Count your lucky blessings that the clock operator gave you a gift against Cincy. Cuse beat UConn and had some really good Top 50 wins.

they beat mediocre teams...why do they deserve to get in? Having goof balls on the bench doesn't count.

Their best win was Notre Dame...by 2 pts...Cuse beat Notre Dame by 15 pts

Is that the same clock operator who let the clock continue to run well after Cincy's 3?

Again, how is that Monmouth's fault? They did exactly what the Committee told them to do to get in, and they were shut out. You making snarky comments doesn't change that fact.

Could be a scheduling conflict...or the NIT realizes that Creighton will sell a ton more tickets

All the ticket revenue basically goes into a pot to be divided up

Dude...it wasn't enough...take your UConn blinders off.

They could've won their tourney to seal the deal...

Akron best win of the season was over Ohio. Thus a road game in the NIT is fair and deserving.

What does my UCONN blinders have to do with anything? Since you've got your selective reading Syracuse blinders on, let me repeat what I said above...

It's not Monmouth's fault anymore than its Houston's fault LSU was not a good team. You get only so much credit for scheduling up.

Yes it is a tough job...but it is still a fact time would've expired.

As I said in another thread, your mind has to be able to react to it, like driving a car and seeing something in the road. Even those with cat-like reflexes have to be able to percieve and then react, mentally and physically. Unless a censor is placed on or in the ball, you'll never get a perfectly snychonized start time and it's not as if technology is flawless.

Akron is better than Ohio State and you know that. This seeding was based on $$$ alone.....

Monmouth also had I believe 3 losses to teams over 200 in the RPI. Those bad losses negate the ok wins against bad P5 teams.
