S Miss AD had little to say in this story from yesterday. Doesn't say anything about him being at or planning to attend the AAC tournament.

I am against the move, even if invited, which won't happen, si the point is moot.
Have to admit I would LOVE the basketball coverage, as I am a basketball first guy.
I don't believe we are in the top 5 candidates.
I don't believe we'd spend the money to make the switch with the AAC's future TV contract in question. Sure, it will be much more than C-USA, but with the B10 still possibly raiding other conferences, there is too much uncertainty.

As I said better market (State) vs better potential (Southern). Southern always seems to have good programs in several sports and can have long term success in a better conference. State would have to agree to build an OCS or I would pass on them as they would be just like Tulane was.
