Sampson demanded we switch to chartered flights at Houston and got it.

I'm very interested to see who Danny White hires. I bet he picks a good one. His Bobby Hurley hire at Buffalo was genius.

Apparently our pulling out of the IMG contract and a few other changes are allowing us to keep more revenue to pay for the charter flights and more on coaching salaries

There are a few. There is even a rumor of Calhoun being interested. Supposedly Thunder Dan, and several other more realistic candidates. Unfortunately I can't give specifics as they are behind a paid board I frequent.

I was hoping to hear the coaches from Chattanooga and Stephen F. Austin mentioned. Not sure if UCF could pull that off though. Knight Basketball is nowhere near a big name. The job has potential though... Lots of it.

Yeah. SVG is a super nice, and well grounded guy. You'd never expect him to be so engaged in his daughter's school and be so accessible to other folks. Literally you could mistake the guy for a car mechanic, or some other regular Joe, if you didnt already know him. I mentioned to him that his firing by the Magic was a raw deal, and he never badmouthed them. He simply said it gave him more time to spend with his family, but thanked me for the sentiment. Wish there were more like him.

Even in football, where every team obviously flies charters, there is a difference in "quality", even among P5 teams in the same conf.
