What seed will MTSU BE IN THE NCAAs?

I was wondering if all the #1 seeds that lost in their one bid conferences would help us, but it doesn't appear so.

Looks like most prognosticators have us as a 14.

I voted 14 but I think any CUSA champ deserves higher than that. I just feel they will hammer "us" (CUSA) this year.

I mean...the choice of even voting a #1 seed...

OOC was strong. Probably better than most 14 seeds, so I said 13.

It was not an easy OOC schedule, however, by the metrics the committee uses it wasn't anything to write home about.

0-2 vs. Top 50. Only 1-4 against Top 100. And two of our four top 100 games were in conference against UAB.

This is a perfect example of why I'm saying its so important for the league to win games OOC and not just schedule hard. If we get above 60% as a league we would have more top 100 opponents in-conference.

Every single league that won more than 60% of its games will be a multi-bid conference this year.

I think there are enough bad teams that got in to avoid a 15. Maybe not, though. Who knows. Anything can happen with the idiots who do the selection.

I voted 13. Anything higher is a joke imo. GL MTSU.

I think a 13 or 14. Honestly I think it's less about screwing us(they would if they could)and more about protecting higher seeds. I would be pretty pissed if I were a 2 and had to play a team like us or ODU.

I hadn't considered this angle when put you at 13 in this poll, but it makes much sense. (If so, be ready to get matched up in the first round against another under-rated G5, for the purpose of knocking one or the other of your off -- the seed number assigned will be determined primarily by how to most plausibly make that match up happen.)

Yes, tournament champions aren't in the play-in games. Those are for the last 4 at large teams.

Yes, tournament champions aren't in the play-in games. Those are for the last 4 at large teams.

Except for the really bad tournament champions. Peay will probably be in a play-in for the 16 seeds

There are no okay in games. It's round. One. You are in the tournament.

I say 14, due to the OOC part of the schedule being pretty weak. The only "good" team on there, this year at least, is VCU. If you would've beat VCU maybe a 13 or even 12.
