Before We Go Dark
Before we go dark for the summer on this board, what kind of team do you see for next season?
Forwards: Need to find the net. Not sure under the current system if we can.
Defense: Should be our strongest area. Veterans with 2-3 years of college experience.
Goaltending: Too many new faces and not enough NCAA games under their belt. This could be a real problem area if the defense falters and we cannot score.
Enjoy the spring and summer... only 7 1/2 months until the season starts!

RE: Before We Go Dark
Forwards: led by freshman (Wade Allison, Mattila, Suthers, Courtnall, Hugh Mcging, and Brody Stevens) and sophomores (Conrad and Molino will likely lead the team) purely if Tiffels has a similar season.
Defense: Cam Lee, Grant Gabrielle, , Brutrus Ghafari, Wyatt Kalynuk(if he comes) should all be able to contribute right away. Schuenan, Kaski and Dienes will be studs.
Goalie: Ben Blacker should be a stud as he has emerged as one of the premiere goalies in the USHL. Gorsuch could also be good but I don't see him having a very high starter potential.
Overall, I don't see why we wouldn't do much better.

[/quote] Being a stud in the USHL doesn't mean you step right into D1 college and continue. Stopping shots from 16-20 year olds and a different game than stopping 20-25 year olds. I hope he meets your prediction though... would be fun to watch.
One last thought.... you gotta a lot of guys coming in next year... I count 10-11 based on your count. We aren't losing that many guys to bring in that many.

I forgot Fleming and I think Goff and Moldenhauer will be competing with freshman for playing time. Also, about the number of incumbents. I see some players leaving the program to make room and also some names I have mentioned could stay in juniors.

Bold prediction on Goff and Moldie. I like it though.
