If Avery can't go, who do you put in the starting lineup? Martin looked very solid last night, but you almost have to save him as a backup point. Markel would be my choice, if only because it keeps your basic rotation the same. I was very proud and impressed that the guys came out last night and played without panicking and without being nervous. Even when we got down early and when Ricky went out for a minute we stayed steady.

I like Martin, and I think sometimes that he has a really good grasp of how to attack a defense.

He just needs to be coached very closely, because can also get a little carried away.

Interesting.

If Woodson is not able to start...agree with the above...would start Crawford. No Avery. No Kedren...no KJ for a while now...thins things out quite a bit.

Will play primarily a seven man lineup, Jake getting some minutes out of necessity.

It seems like the Tigers have been snake bitten so many times over the years. David Vaughn, Kelly Wise, Gray and Alexander, Andre Allen. Some right at tourney time and not all from injuries. To my recollection there wasn't so much of this in the Bartow, Kirk era. Kedren could have been a great help to the Tigers this season if not for his injury. He could make a three, and an entry pass. KJ would have added some depth in front court (call me Captain Obvious) with the foul prone Shaq on the bench.
Hopefully Avery is able to play at least some. Other teams have had the same though. Most memorable was Marvin Barnes from Providence and Kenyan Martin from Cincinnati.
