Since we have zero local media that really covers team now, we will all find out about an hour prior to kickoff. We still have players our coaches have listed as progressing since October that hasnt played a snap and another DPOY Donut who has been week to week since he got hurt.
Oof, that hurts ... maybe. Do you have the next Zappe on the bench?

In limited action Helton (nephew of our Coach, son of GaSo's I think) has shown flashes. Without an O-line it won't matter. I have heard rumors and Reed and the O-line don't get along (he seemed to throw them under the bus, without good reason to by my estimate). Maybe if Reed walks the O-line plays?
Do WKU fans think they'll be able to attend in numbers? I've seen a good amount of buzz for the bowl in Monarch circles, but it's been hard to find for Hilltopper faithful. Hoping to see a decent amount of red in the stands cause last time we played in a bowl we played Tulsa who wasn't really able to bring anybody. Since the bowl is pretty equally distanced from both of us I feel like it's a good opportunity for a fun and chippy atmosphere.

Also, are y'all bringing your band?
Band will almost certainly be there. We usually have a solid showing. Not sure about this year. Performed well below expectations, leading to a bit of apathy. I have been to Detroit, Dallas, Miami, Boca, Orlando, and New Orleans to watch the Tops. I am not going to make it this year. Schedule doesn't work out for me this year. On top of that, I don't have this major itch to see us play ODU in the postseason (no offense to you guys, would feel the same thing about playing UNT, UAB, Rice, FAU, etc.) Just feels too much like a conference game still for me.
I’d like to give WKU their props by way of a story. I had a vasectomy in 2016 after the birth of our second. It was the weekend we played at WKU for the East title. We got our asses kicked and sucker punched in a brawl too boot. I was of course in my recliner on a Lortab and just a couple beers with a bag of frozen peas on my crotch. I was comfortably numb for that one. This one not so much. You had a great team that year and we had a decent one with a favorable schedule This year neither team both seem pretty mediocre but you were definitely the better team. So congrats my friends, enjoy your victory. I will be applying more numbing ointment
