Bad loss for USM in first game. Up 7-2 and lose 10-8 in extra innings. Hard to figure this team. They REALLY need to win this second game coming up today.

Eagles win the second game of the DH, coming from behind to take a a 6-3 win for the series. Eagles had only eight hits in this one but four were for extra base hits. Thanks to a pair of two-out errors in the sixth to keep the inning alive, USM scored three in the inning.

Tough series win over a Samford team that could really hit the ball and could be pretty damn good if their pitchers can start finding the plate. We were pretty fortunate that a lot of their balls were hit right at people. It seemed like they were barreling everything.
