Last night's (interesting) tweets for the Bruce Pearl fans
Maybe Auburn will waive that 5 million dollar buyout.

After that technical, Bruce Pearl was yelling in the direction of SEC commissioner Greg Sankey and supervisor of officials Jake Bell.

Yeah, my point is Bruce has stunk so far at Auburn.

Bruce brought in some knuckleheads for a quick fix and hasn’t gotten much return on investment. It’s on him, too.
Dan Wolken @DanWolken .
Auburn’s top 7 players in minutes played this year were all recruited by Bruce Pearl.

Yes, but eventually he will have guessed right enough on the talent to win.
He will then get caught for said talent, because he's not as smart as Cal.
Wash, rinse, repeat.

It is likely a moot point as Pastner might not be going anywhere and Memphis couldn't afford BP even if Pastner was released. But I'm not so sure I'd want BP anyhow. His results at Auburn have been less than impressive to say the least. Basketball isn't the same as football. He should at least have them above .500. The SEC isn't murderer's row.

I agree --- it almost appears he's 'loose cannon' at his core. And if he's not a golden boy on the court there's not much else there ---

That's the thing; Auburn is such an utterly sh*tty program with so much fan apathy, can any coach win there?

Knew they lost but by 38 points? --- and worse, the season's last loss remains until next season >>>

Bruce Pearl won the same number of SEC games in his first two years at Auburn than Tony Barbee won in his last two.

This year's Vols' team is really, really bad too. Pearl's best player did leave mid-season, but he's had some really, really bad losses that are pretty uncharacteristic for him pre-Auburn.
Next year will be interesting. Perhaps choosing such a terrible program as Auburn will be his Waterloo.

And the look on Bruce's face when the NCAA investigator pulled out that photo of a recruit eating BBQ in Bruce Pearl's kitchen --- just had to be priceless.

I'm neutral on Bruce Pearl but one thing's for sure, you can't win without good players and he's got a couple of good recruiting classes coming (ranked #13 in 2016 according to ESPN) and I expect those who care, will want to see progress.

No question, he's getting into "make or break" time at Auburn.
