P5 becomes P6 with addition of AAC.

The rest of the G5 conferences (MWC, MAC, CUSA, and SBC) follow the sunbelt model and shed their dead weight teams to increase payout per school. SunBelt and CUSA redistribute their teams based on geography. This leads to a new SBC/CUSA fusion conference and a spread out reject conference of all shed teams called the Metro City Conference.

CFP expanded to 8 teams, 6 spots for the P6 champs, 1 spot for highest rated G5, 1 spot for at-large (which could also be a G5).

Tv contracts for all conferences change when cable becomes obsolete. Now you buy and download the channels you want like apps and pay to stream content. ESPN basically dies when each FBS conference makes their own App that you can stream all conference games with and they get their own tv crew to cover games. Conferences get much richer off this by cutting out the middle man. ESPN still shows sportscenter and a bunch of documentary and sports news shows and old games. The NFL has its own app. Each of the big networks gets to host one CFP quarterfinal game on their App (FOX, CBS, ABC, ESPN) and then semifinal games and the final are hosted on the highest-bidding network's App.

AAC is never going to be a P anything. That would mead the current P5 teams would voluntarily give up millions and millions of dollars.

But the P5's don't own the CFP. If the CFP is expanded to guarantee every P5 champion plus the AAC champion a seed, then the AAC can be considered a Power Conference by default.

I don't see this happening either. Maybe the CFP is expanded to 8 guaranteeing the 5 P5 champions a slot and then three at large berths so technically the G5's could compete for an at large.

The P5's control every aspect of the CFP, it is their creation and has no affiliation with the NCAA. To make the AAC an official power conference they would get tens of millions more in payout which is not going to happen. The AAC might dominate the G5 pick if expanded but the payout will never be what the actual power conference get.

South Alabama will get an On Campus stadium(thinking start around 25-30K). I am only hoping, no real info.

USA will beat a power 5 team. Came close vs Tennessee a few years ago. San Diego State was a nice win last year.
Will win division once if we are in the west.
Enrollment will go up.
Playoffs will go up 8 teams.
Sunbelt will look different in the next 10 years.
Sunbelt will want all sports members.

The CFP is P5 only no sharing with the G5.
The playoffs are expanded to six five auto one at large .
Theoretically the G5 have a shot at the at large but never get it.
P5 vs FCS goes away and they only host one G5 or two if its a lower P5 school.
Parents of P5 kids will get a package of games they attend free including hotel and transportation.

G5 games will be digital or weeknight TV games .
FCS will become even worse with the best supported teams losing some fans.
attendance overall will be down except for the marque programs with the big event feel.
Also the playstation generation will not come to games as much .

Out of every post this one is probably the most likely.

Coach Matthew Graves announces that the culture of South Alabama basketball for the upcoming 26-27 season has been changed..He happily says that after 13 years of roster moves he finally has a team that resembles the Butler Bulldogs
