Yes I know you're being sarcastic. I agreed w/Marshall then and I agree now. I'm absolutely angry at this game. UAB gets royally screwed on their home floor in the tournament? That's just horrible. CUSA should be very ashamed.

It really is an embarrassment to the league (or at least to league officiating or lack thereof)

And I didn't really care if UTEP won or not. I hope they do get an at-large bid to the NCAA with a loss to MT in the finals.

This tourney has been a very interesting one so far. I hope MT's game is FAR less exciting than what we've seen so far! Wow!

They rubbed it in immediately after our loss, but I will now switch to the high road.

The refs called it off the red light going off. Even though the ball left her hand with 0.1 to go, the red light went off before it left her hand. I thought the clocked took precedent, but the TV guys said the refs go by the red light. Shame they weren't properly in sync, but that's on the arena.

It's such a terrible way for a game to end.

On that note, going over to BlazerTalk and seeing Memphis Blazer blame the refs is strangely satisfying.

The official clock is on the scoreboard. What was shown on the overlay was fed through the truck. There is a split second delay there. It's a technology flaw. The call of no good was correct.

And that stinks because UAB did a magnificent job against UTEP. I wish it had counted. But it was correctly called after review.

The lesson is, those overlays are not to be trusted.

Not really a shocker seeing us lose today....We have kind of played ho hum through the better part of a month, give Marshall credit though, their zone was too much for us tonight.....Like they say its always hard to beat a team 3 times....

GOod news for us is we return everyone pretty much, what would be nice though if we added some bigger girls down low who can rebound and defend the post, losing Goods and Gaines down low during the season ended up really hurting us in the long run...Here we come NIT!
