133 - McGuire gets the #9 seed and a bye in the first round. His first match will probably be against the #8 seed, Earl Hall of Iowa State who beat Mack 4-3 earlier in the year.

149 - DePalma is seeded #10 and has one match that he should win before facing the #7 seed from Nebraska.

157 - Miller is the #4 seed and is on the same side of the bracket as Martinez (ILL), the defending champ.

165 - Buckwalter faces #3 Jordan of OSU in his opening match.

197 - Conel is seeded #16 and after a probable win in the first round, he would face #1 and undefeated McIntosh of Penn State.

All in all, not a bad set of opening round matches. Can't wait.

Thanks! I was in Cleveland for all 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my seats being located next to the oPU fans. I enjoyed their despair more than my adult beverages.

For tonight, Mack has #8 seed, Hall of Iowa State and if he gets past him, he gets the 1 seed from Cornell, Garrett.

DePalma has #7 seed, Sueflohn of Nebraska in his second match.

Miller has #13 Cooper of Iowa. Ian will have the entire Garden in his corner for that one, except the Hawkeye fans.

Conel has #1 McIntosh of PSU.

If we go 3-1, I'll be thrilled.

Buckwalter has a tough consolation opponent - Moore of Northern Iowa. Buckwalter can win it if he wrestles a great match.

We are in 15th place with our 5 points.

Watch ESPN televises every match. Only one I missed was Millers (of course). McGuire wrestled well on top. It won him the match. I also saw Wheeler lose. He wasn't the wrestler I remember.

I saw Coach A barking but I was too far away (even in the lower bowl) to know what it was about. With 8 mats, there's a lot of barking going on. lol
