I have been gong to games since 1993 and Gray Jr. Is the purest shooter I have seen in a Coogs uniform. Aubrey Coleman was a better scorer, but nobody has RG Jr's shot. And he can get in with trees and score as well. Great player.

Two words Damyean Dotson. He is a better shooter than Gray. I like his game better as he defends, rebounds and can attack the basket.

Gray is a little too selfish for me at times.

RE: Basketball awards
Pat Birt should have been an honorable mention. He's upped his game so much during the conference slate. He kept us in a ton of games we wouldn't have been without him.

+1

I'm guessing Rob Gray missed a few too many games during the conference slate. Though I cant recall a leading scorer of a conference, not at least being honorable mention.

I dunno... looking back through my memory banks... Gee Gervin comes to mind. He was a phenom as well... he just never had a supporting cast around him, but he had some super slick moves to go with his dad's patented "finger roll". Good enough to be an All-CUSA First team selection two years in a row.

2 years in a row for Dunphy, now if he could only up his game a few notches in recruiting Temple would be back to national prominence.

All well deserved. Congrats!
