Any player with a GPA above 3.

Lame

duane, you'll have to narrow it down better than that. UC basketball has had some of the highest GPA's when we were in the Big East and also in AAC under Coach Cronin. UC couldn't lay claim to that when Huggins was coaching us. I hope you can go through a list of probably 150 former bb players at UC and choose your all time best, as long as they had a GPA higher than a 3.0

RE: Cincinnati basketball player
Duane Norman wants to announce his favorite Xavier basketball player but his criteria of a GPA above 3.0 is making that one tough. Yeah, Duane, most of them struggled to make eligibility out of high school but I'm sure Sister Rose Fleming can give you a lot of names after XU has tampered with their classroom data after being there. Probably be upset how many don't attend classes like Duke and Kentucky's. haha

My PE teacher in 7th and 8th grade great guy.

Often known as "Red Rolfes". Guy could play. Great scorer in the paint with a great soft touch around the basket.

What was the first name of the 'center' we had in 1993 who was maybe 6'6. His last name was Harris.

Kid played hard.

Wingfield had zero inside help that year. Wish he would have stayed and played with Danny and Art. That would have been amazing.

A mainstay on that very under rated '65-'66 team.

I'm certain a lot of you overlooked this name--he had a real major, a good GPA, and was a standout basketball player for UC...in fact, he carried the team for years. I'm of course talking about...

Roger McClendon

50 year anniversary...I hope there was some recognition this year for that team. They were good enough to win it all but the best three teams were all in the Midwest region...Kansas, UC and UTEP.

Mike Harris, I believe. He had huge hands...looked like he was holding a ping pong ball!

He led us to beating Louisville two straight years at Freedom Hall; one of those during their National Championship year.
