I like the predictions that he has except for the final game - just need to flip the final result and it is a perfect prediction :)

It's a Marshall blog what did you expect him to do in the bracket portion? Not pick the Herd? Lol

Since 2014, the only team not named UAB to win a game in the Bham city limits was Oregon and they were playing UA-tuscaloosa. Look guys, this ain't gonna happen. We ain't going to lose in Birmingham.

RE: Previewing the CUSA Basketball Tournament
I got a feeling UAB isn't gonna win the tournament just because they're the #1 seed. The two previous seasons when we were the top seed, we didn't win. I'm gonna say Marshall wins just because why not.

According to the Twitter, 9 number 1 seeds have already went down so far in conference tournaments. Just saying...

I'm not saying that it can't happen. Just that I really really hope it doesn't. I'm not a gambling man for a reason.

RE: Previewing the CUSA Basketball Tournament
I'd pick UAB or Marshall. Love my Dawgs, but I'd be pleasantly shocked if we won the tourney with our depleted roster. Tough to win 3 in 3 days with a short staff. But may the best team win!

interesting logic. So you are saying no #1 seeds will win. Or just UAB

which is why the tournament needs to be in a neutral location. had to deal with this BS with VCU in the CAA every year.

Technically, I haven't checked, but Samford and their opponents probably won some games in Birmingham.
