Osweiler's stock will probably never be as high as right now...makes sense.

I hope he doesn't go to Denver...I don't wish having to fill Peyton Manning's shoes on anyone, not even after a crummy year.

What would that be, the #32 pick? Probably a good spot for RGIII or Matt Moore for now.

That's a big deal, and means the Broncos will be moving on a QB

I seriously doubt they would go into the season with Paxton as their QB though. Most scouts agree he is not ready for that and needs a redshirt year if possible.

So its hard to see them moving on him, but you never know.

Time to stop posting that uninformed nonsense. You've been corrected on it multiple times.

He was offered a fat contract to stay, a fatter contract to leave. He made the decision to leave. No one "got rid of him". He signed a FA contract with a division rival.

If you want to argue they should have OVERPAID Murray, then fine. But that is not "getting rid of him".

Murray got greedy and now his career is in a tailspin. He's been traded to the titans.

They didn't want him. Jerry thought he could replace him.

If Jerry (or Stephen) had made Murray feel wanted or needed, he would have accepted the contract.

Murray probably did get greedy at that point. And made a mistake.

No, they did NOT make a mistake.

RB's have a short life span. They had no business paying Murray the type money he was offered by Philly.

This is silly point anyway. The running game was NOT a weakness for the cowboys last year.

Murray is not a great running back, not top 15 in the league. Now I do think the Cowboys did a poor job of evaluating the available running back talent and ended up with scraps...definitely

Dallas was top 10 in rushing last year, with ZERO QB play or passing game to balance it out. Defenses every week knew they could NOT throw the ball and had to depended solely on the run. Yet they ran the ball really well.

Darren MeFadden was one of the most productive RB's in the NFL after becoming the starter in week 6.

Dallas' issues were at QB, not RB last year.

The cowboys do need another RB in the rotation (preferably a middle round draft pick), but this is not a true position of "need" going into next year. There will be no flashy top draft pick or big FA signing at RB.

They cowboys have much bigger needs at DE, DT and DB. Back up QB as well.

You folks in Colorado get in on the form above and write them.

Also call Woody Paige and tell him about Paxton. He could be a great Bronco QB. 04-rock 04-rock

He would be playing for a team that took John Bramlett years ago and made him a Rookie of the Year.

If he falls below 20 he made a mistake.

No way. Anything in top 2 rounds is a good decision - when facing a coaching change.

Here's a real interesting read from the Chicago Bears camp on Paxton.

Yeah, I didn't know the money was so good all the way through the first round. So if he goes first round he did well.

Fun and allsome read. Thanks for posting...excerpt follows:

"It is impossible to tell the tale of Paxton Lynch without talking about the appendage that hangs off his right shoulder. Simply put, Paxton's got a cannon for an arm. Chicago fans have been lucky enough to witness one of the best arms in the league calling Soldier Field home now for quite a few years. Jay Cutler has incredible arm talent. He can absolutely sling it when he wants to and that gets him well-deserved mentions as one of the top 5 arms in the league when the subject is raised. Based on that a lot of what Lynch can do will look familiar to Bears fans.

To many fan bases in the rest of the league it will look like Paxton is an alien who came from another planet; they simply won't be able to comprehend how much power he can put behind his throws. In all honesty Lynch might have a better arm than Cutler, and that is really saying something."

Yes, see Tyler Wilson from Arkansas the year Petrino had his motorcycle wreck. Wilson staying another year cost him a ton of money...

Thanks, I was pretty impressed myself on how well researched it was.

Be sure to read the comments below. Some of the Bears fans went crazy over the "31 yd. pylon route".
