Huge upgrade for them. Of course just about anyone they hired after Dawkins would be an upgrade.

UAB should follow pattern from the Hasse hire and go after Dane Fife from Michigan State.

I've heard that Bryce Drew is going to be the new coach at St. Louis and that the new guy from Wisconsin-Green Bay is one of the top candidates that Pitt is considering.

Looks like Pitt is getting Stallings from Vandy.

Another hockey hire: Wisconsin has hired Tony Granato as head coach with Don Granato and Mark Osiecki as associate head coaches. It's a huge coup for Wisconsin hockey which had slowly slid to the bottom of the college hockey barrel since winning a national title in 2006.
