RE: Rocket Football
They might have jumped the shark on that one. Doesn't seem that much less than my normal season tickets, when I would assume the goal is still to have a ticket pricing to draw new fans? Could be they made it so inexpensive, the less dedicated season ticket holder was switching over to fan plan. We'll see. Doesn't seem like much of an attraction to me. Food voucher is good for a few hotdogs. Parking is a sham since it's a no cost anyhow. They could have said it's worth $200 or been honest and said it's worth 0$. Gear card should be worth at least one decent logo item. Is it?

I usually score a nice t-shirt with golf, track, swimming or some other non-rev for the $20.

Some great home games, 4 on Saturday. The OU game is good for students with no Friday classes. Not too early or too late in the season.

How is parking a sham? It's $10/game. Fan plan is still a great deal.

RE: Rocket Football
Why would they make the bg game our Homecoming game? Why not make it the following Saturday vs CMU? It would help to add to attendance for that game. We'll already have a great crowd with bg. Doesn't make sense to me, but they didn't ask me either. Oh well. Go Rockets!!!

Totally missed that part of your post, too focused on the $. That is a nice schedule. Ball St game might be difficult to stay long but that's probably the fan friendliest schedule we've had in awhile, until ESPN starts switching them to Tues at 9pm.

It's a sham because it's not based upon anything realistic. They can set the price anywhere they want knowing very few people will actually pay it and then only those that don't have season tickets by other means or don't know any better. Sham.

Great deal? Remove all corporate buys and then attendance will tell. I would say "no," not a "great" deal but that's coming from someone who actually pays more for less as I'm a regular season ticket holder. I basically consider it "donation." If I were to consider it based upon value for the money, I honestly would be doing something else with my money.

Mostly I've got freebees or Christmas gifts. One gift is a nice blue zipp hoody that strangely doesn't even have a UT logo. Really warm though. After the lottery, I think I'm going to get a hat or a hoody with a logo. REALLY wish I could have gotten a pair of those gloves they were giving away last season. I need gloves and they looked cool. Do they sell them you suppose?

UT's ESPN November MACACTION games other than BSU are on the road:
11/02/16 Wednesday@Akron
11/09/16 Wednesday@NIU-US Cellular Field Chicago
11/25/16 Friday@WMU

I think those Saturday home games are good to go.
