Lamar did put double digits on LSU in Beaumont. Of course, they gave up double digits in that game as well.

Agreed, but at his point, Wayne probably figures Otto will not be available Tuesday, regardless, and he should be rested enough to return by Friday. Glen gave us his old self today, when we desperately needed to shut the door on UCF, and give the offense a chance to catch up.

Solecitto replaces Otto with runners on 1B and 2B, two outs. 5.0 IP, 3 hits, 0 runs, 1 BB, 8 Ks. Pretty darn impressive given he came in with us behind by 4 runs early.

Solecitto gives up a 1-run single, but freezes the next batter to end the inning.
