Information is only as good if it is processed, understood and handled. Too much info can be confusing and to some debilitating. Paralysis by analysis.
Here is an article I found that some may find interesting and helpful.

Listened to Ben Carson's talk at CPAC the other day though I missed the last 15 minutes (on mute) taking an incoming business call and an undetermined amount upfront. I stumbled on it.
All politics and social/religious beliefs aside the one topic that I could listen to that resonated was his describing how capable the human brain is to handle complex questions and problems. Not being an expert on the topic of neurology I found it interesting.
In short, he said that we are capable of using our noggin to identify issues of import, sort through all the "noise" and applying basic principles can logically come to conclusions, make and execute plans that will safely and adequately address those issues.
IOW, common sense.
He touched on the onerous burden of debt (financial and social), the responsibility of leadership, the individual and society at large. Much of it depends on the "human condition", IOW the will to chose to be self serving or selfless.
But by what standard would this be applied? Who or what determines selfish or selfless? He acknowledged that some sort of Moral standard needed to be the back drop to plumb that line. He pointed to the Constitution, the principles it espouses and their roots. This is important because not everyone has the same innate ability to know, understand and implement. So who's responsible? His answer: "We the people".
I think it applies to what I linked earlier. Information from reliable sources that can help you sort through your needs in light of all that swirls around you.
