Hahaha, except a conference champion can't be invited to the First Four.

That's the 5 bid scenario. Houston wins the auto-bid so they are not in the First Four. 02-13-banana

If the conference finals end up being Houston over UConn with Temple and Tulsa making the semifinals... the committee is going to have some really tough decisions to make. The only way to guarantee a trip to the tournament for any of these teams is to keep winning all the way through next Sunday.

I think the team you hope makes the final is Temple. Like Houston, they did nothing out of conference, granted with a tougher schedule.

I was a Phish fan via tapes before my first show which was at a party at Dennison University in Ohio in 1990. (1989 or 90...not sure which). Have not been to one since 1996. It was fun back in the day.

Its fun to give a listen to on occasion. My kid who is freshman in college is into them now. Panicstricken feels like he's of a kindred age at times.

Who else was gonna get in, SIU? Maybe if they didn't collapse? Evansville? Too many bad losses and not enough good wins.

It's fun if you like being shithoused and hearing the same song for 2 hours straight. Been to 1 Phish show and that was my takeaway.
