The "storied" bulls program released their OOC schedule today. No UCF, but such "in state juggernaughts" as FAU, FIU, Stetson, and Jacksonville are on thier schdule.

It makes me laugh when these idiot Bulls posters talk about bball supremecy yet they won't schedule a game with us now that we've clearly passed their weak bball program.

USF= wanna bes.

Welcome to the prediciment that most CUSA schools have felt over the years. I know you are speaking of BB here, but UC could never get equitable scheduling from schools in the BCS conferences for FB. Now that we are "in" we get home and home series with VT, NC State. There is nothing to gain for them in playing you and everything to lose. This is especially true of in-state schools. UC again until recently had problems scheduling tOSU, ask Memphis about UT...

My advice, continue to do well in your new conference, make the tournament and do some damage!

Aren't a few of those schools in the A-Sun? Do you realize you are badmouthing your old conference mates?

BTW, USF will be playing in the toughest BB conference in America. They need to schedule some wins.

That team has zero chance of making the NCAA tournament in the next 5 years.

no offense but OSU was long listed as a power.

USF still has a lot to prove and to stick thier noses so far up when they don't become official till tomarrow? thats just stupid

in basketball at least Memphis did play almost all or the better of Tennessee teams. Vandy being the only school to never have any regular activity with.

Interesting that "ignore" doesn't prevent you from seeing people's posts when somebody else responds to them.

Yes, USF has a few games against less than stellar teams. Those same less than stellar teams that UCF fattened up against to get to their 20 win plateau, I might add. UCF is likely to play against Missouri-Kansas City this year, does that make you guys wusses? We're going to be playing not only against the Big East, but we have games against Michigan, UAB and we're in a tournament in Hawaii. Fortunately, our AD makes our schedule and not your fans.

That's not the point.

The point is that your AD scooped up nearly ever game around Florida except for Miami, FSU, or UF.

He just happened to not schedule UCF.

Coincidence? I think not.

So the next time your fans want to boast about your basketball program, just remember that nobody over in Tampa has the stones to schedule us, and I think we all know why.

That team has zero chance of making the Big East conference tournament in the next five years. Only the top 12 teams in the conference qualify for the conference tournament.

Memphis and Vandy have played plenty of times in the regular season. Most recently in the early 90's. During Paul Hartledge's last year to broadcast.

I agree but unfortunately this cat has a hard on for USF. :chair:

Considering UCF basketball is going to see a 100-fold increase in competition, you would think that some people would have other things to worry about, i.e: Memphis et al

BTW, Speraw and McCullum have a very good relationship and if they could have reached a schedule that meets both schools needs I am sure they would have got it done. Per the Sentinel as of a four weeks ago USF and UCF were still mulling over a game.

USF scheduling does not revolve around UCF. To suggest "fear" is even a factor is hilarious.

They said they wouldn't be competitive early in BASKETBALL, not in the conference period. The bitterness over South Florida is amazing. If I were a USF fan I would find this flattering. The pissing and moaning about South Florida is amazing. For a school that no one allegedly cares about or thinks will do anything, people sure go out of their way to tear them down. Especially when the same people who claim they hate the Big East and that it's horrible are turning around and claiming that South Florida say they're going to a conference they didn't "earn" their way into.

So you're willing to schedule FAU, FIU, BCC, Jacksonville and even travel to Stetson yet won't even think about scheduling UCF.

Right, fear isn't part of it at all............
