Hate of the coach bigger than the program?
With all the talk about people who supposedly love Josh more than the program, it sounds to me like there is also a big group who hate josh more than they love the program.

That's the explanation I see for "I won't watch or come to another Tiger game so long as he's the coach".

Putting the coach above the program cuts both ways, folks.

Tonight's game prime example why people don't care for Pastner...bad late game coach.

No it doesn't. The fans have to apply pressure the only way they can to ensure that a change is made sooner rather than later.

Love hate my butt. It's is he worth keeping or is he not worth keeping. Here's a hint -- did you watch that game just now?

And the best way is to take revenue away from the program? There's no way to communicate to the AD or administration with like...words or protests?

You want Pastner gone after the next game? Fill the FEF with a few thousand people who at Pastner's introduction all stand up and silently turn their backs to the court and remain that way until the first media timeout. That'd get national coverage and force the admin hands. Instead, you're taking away the one thing the university ACTUALLY needs to replace him: cash.

The cash to pay a new coach comes from the boosters. If the whales want to keep Paz then let them make up the revenue shortfall from and empty Forum as well.

It's gameday and I'm wearing a Memphis Tigers sweatshirt, not a Josh Pastner one, but go ahead and assume whatever you want, we all know about assumptions.

I only hate what he has done with the program. Sure, he is a great person, but he does not have the coaching skills to run a high level program.

So......which assistants get fired? Would be great if Penny wanted to be an assistant.

You think you are the only one? I've been to every home game this year except one, spend 20K plus on donations and seats and about half that in the bar before during and sometimes after the games. I think I've earned the right to hate whatever. If you don't like that you can kiss my blue and gray ass

The revenue loss hurts the university, not the boosters. Paying a new coach while paying Pastner will hit the big boosters. You figure it out. Oh, and try stickum on that mic.
