Where? I just don't get the fascination with Damon Stoudamire

Although not a fascination, I could see him getting a head coach gig (even at Memphis) for the following reasons:

1. He has actually played on a national championship team - not watched one from the bench,
2. He has played in the NBA and had some success there - might carry some clout in recruiting,
3. He has been an assistant on a top level team being led by a good young coach, and
4. He has seen how NOT to do it by being on our bench this year.

Personally, I'd rather have him at the helm next year than the twit we have now.

And he was never a video coordinator. That means he is not qualified.
I will rescind my post that he will be offered a head coaching job.

When your baby puts crayon all over your carpet or rubs vaseline all over your keyboard, there is no sense in getting mad. Just laugh at it because you know something like this is coming.

It's the same with Pastner. Just laugh at this mess. It still counts as entertainment, just in reverse.

I don't feel entertained

I remember thinking all the eccentric things about Pastner that I found entertaining in his first couple years--"He may be a goofball, but he's our goofball".

Turns out it was just featherbrained.
