Sad news. Mark was a gem. Thank you for all you have given us Mark, and best of luck in retirement. We will miss you.

Wow. It is certainly a sad day for us Rocket fans. All I've known in my lifetime is Mark Beier so he truly is the voice of the Toledo Rockets for me. Going to be extremely tough to replace him, next year will be weird.

Anthony Bellino. Also is the PA voice for the Walleye, Mud Hens and the Wolverines of Michigan.

He's a BGSUcks grad. I don't know about you guys, but I don't know if I want a poop brown and tacky orange alum doing our play by play. Don't get me wrong, he does an excellent job at PA but I want my play by play guy to have true passion for our great University. You know, the kind of passion like Mark Beier has.

Big shoes to fill. HUGE. In all my years, I've really only had 2 Rocket announcers--Mark Beier and Jerry Keil.

Yeah, but his wife Sharon was a UT grad and she kept him honest.
