If it does and he somehow transforms himself into a coach who starts winning enough to get us to S16's and E8's consistently I'd be happier than a two-peckered pup. I really don't care how that happens.

Problem is...I can't even dream that dream with him at the helm. Instead of getting better, he done got worse. Pretty sure there's more worse where that came from.

I dunno if there's more better.

He plays a certain kind of player. He sits the other kind of player, unless it's all we have.

Between loss of season tickets and no payment from FedEx Forum I can see 0%chance he is here next year because firing him would actually save money at that point.

Come up with the $3 mill difference and you may get your wish

Here's a hypothetical that may give you a headache.

Suppose Paz stays next season and suppose the team really improves, makes the NCAA tournament, and then he backs that up with an outstanding recruiting class?

Ok. Good for everyone. It doesn't mean he didn't suck for years as a head coach it just means he finally, belatedly figured it out and put all the pieces together. Now, IF that actually happened do you really think he'd stick around here? Nope, likely he'd jump ship at the first viable opportunity.

I could sort of understand that if that's the way this all plays out BUT that would really be disloyal to the boosters who stood behind him and gave him 2-3 extra years being paid top dollar when he really wasn't performing anywhere near that level.

The likely scenario of course is IF he stays next year it's gonna be second verse, same as the first. The program struggles to make even the NIT and now we really do have a 4-5 year rebuild.

lol. OK. I'll play.

Say he figures it out and does good.... then leaves the booster-boas high and dry, sad and shocked, mournful and moaning.......................... .........................................................they can just live with it.

Bottom line. Boosters can live with getting shafted.

The program can't live much longer getting shafted.
Nobody is bigger than the program. lol

Without SMU (heck, even if SMU was eligible), this is probably the most wide open AAC Tourn of the 3 years.

Heck, current #1 seed needed last second help to win both of their games vs UCF...so anything is possible...and in the Tigers case...which team will show up? The ones that traveled to Tampa and New Orleans? Or the ones that scored 92 pts and beat Tulsa in their last game?

Game at Temple this weekend could be a good preview of what to expect come AAC Tourn in Orlando but with Memphis already locked into the #6 seed...it won't be a must win or a total disaster if they lose.

This team doesn't have the on court leadership to win the tournament. You need four year players to win tournaments. Josh needs to drop the summer class requirement and have them take just enough classes to stay eligible. Spend the rest of time practicing basketball on their own. No more graduating after three years. They come here to play basketball not to be Rhodes scholars.

Still perfectly happy to throw the players under the bus.

The majority of the contract dollars where never to be payed by the University. In fact, those dollars are paid by a group of boosters, it's that way here and everywhere else. With this in mind, it would appear that somebody(s) welched on the deal!
