Democrats are laughing all the way to the Clinton inauguration. They're encouraging thousands to cross over, during these stupid Open Primaries, to vote for Trump. For the life of me I can't understand the logic behind open primaries. Thankfully, in Kentucky, our's is closed. Meaning, you had to be registered as a Dem or Rep by 12/31/2015 to vote in the Dem Primary or Rep Caucus. Prevents these shenanigans from happening.

your future first lady....she's gonna help kids and women..
I am guessing a large number of these crossovers are blue collar democrats who are not enamored with the progressive wing of the Democrat Party. These are people who endorse unions, but also believe in the second amendment and are anti-abortion. I have a number of relatives living in eastern Ohio and West Virginia who fall into this category.
Reading the comments in the OP someone brought up a very good point. They used the old adage, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". The media hates Trump, the Republicans hate Trump, the Progs hate Trump, Mexico hates Trump... hence he is their guy.

Yep! They love him...all the way to the bank!
Quote:"It may not be good for America, but it's damn good for CBS," he said of the presidential race.
Moonves called the campaign for president a "circus" full of "bomb throwing," and he hopes it continues.
"Most of the ads are not about issues. They're sort of like the debates," he said.
"Man, who would have expected the ride we're all having right now? ... The money's rolling in and this is fun," he said.
"I've never seen anything like this, and this going to be a very good year for us. Sorry. It's a terrible thing to say. But, bring it on, Donald. Keep going," said Moonves.

Oh no doubt the network executives love Trump--- he is a rating's bonanza. I am saying the perception by Trump supporters is that the media "hates" him.
Trump is appealing to the nationalist Americans in both gangs. Evidently folks have forgotten history and are not familiar with nationalism and its dangers. That is pretty much what Trump is running on...and it has worked before...like the post WW1 emergence of Nazi Germany.
