Maybe if UCONN had spent more time being concerned about the team from TEXAS that they hosted the other day (Houston), where they lost on their home court instead of worrying about newspaper ads...they would be in a much better situation.

I think you guys missed the point which I understand since your schools never won at anything. They were trying to show off all the National Titles they won. Which as you can see is not as easy as you might think when you have as many as they do. They barely fit on the page.

This is hugely noteworthy. UConn would not have spent the $$$ on the ad did they not have good reason to believe that B12 expansion is in play and that UConn is in competition with others for one of the spots.

Cinci needs to respond. Perhaps a free Oscar Robinson-signed ball with every chalupa at your Dallas-Ft. Worth area Taco Bueno? Sure, the kids will say "Oscar who?", but it's a start.

This has nothing to do with UConn's Big 12 aspirations. The purpose of that ad is that UConn knows that the Dallas area has a ton of great basketball recruits and we would like to steal some of those recruits away by highlighting our trophy case.

That said, if we were also hiking up the skirt a bit to show a little va-jay-jay to the Big 12 movers and shakers, then it probably doesn't hurt at all.
