Dan's right, there are plenty of stats within this season point to this as another loss, if 5-23 and 0-2 vs Elon aren't enough. I'll give a historical stat pointing to a loss... 7 times DU has been involved in a CAAT game where one team had beaten the other 2x in the reg season. All 7 times point against Drexel.

Twice we were up 2-0 (2007,11), had the higher seed and won the third game. Better team wins 3rd game. Favors Elon in 2016.

Once we were down 0-2 (2003), were the lower seed and loss the third game. Better team wins 3rd game. Favors Elon in 2016.

The other 4 times (2005,09,10,15) we were up 2-0, had the higher seed, but blew it and lost in the 3rd game. Other teams can learn from 2 losses and beat a "better" Drexel team. Why does this favor Elon? Other teams can overcome but Bruiser's Dragons can not. Can DU adjust this year? The objective pick says, no, Drexel can't overcome this spot. Favors Elon in 2016.

DFL, your pick is blind loyalty, which is fine. Just call it what it is. Everything points to another one and done. Ill be rooting for DU tonight, but there's nothing credible that says we win this game.
