Shame on Memphis. They can lose to the dregs of the conference (seriously, they're the only team to lose to every team at the bottom of the standings) but beat some good ones, as their recent wins over Cincinnati and Tulsa may ultimately cost both bids. They'll possibly do the final deed and steal the auto-bid and make the conference a 2-bid league.

Memphis has been a bad match up for Tulsa for years. At least until Tulsa gets some beef inside.

Tulsa fans, don't feel so bad. Memphis even beat the best team in the conference at home, it's what they do. As for the NIT, it's really not so bad, your team will still need the support. In all seriousness, until Temple wins the conference tournament, I'm expecting an NIT appearance.
