I had the opportunity to witness my son cut down his piece the net today at Birmingham-Southern. He's a freshman on the varsity team.

I realize this is small potatoes compared to Tiger basketball but I can attest D3 basketball is 100% pure.

Southern went undefeated in conference play and won the torny today.

My kid and his teammates are GOING DANCING in the NCAA Division 3 tournament.

Very proud of his and the team's hard work to achieve their dreams.

Awesome stuff!! Congratulations to your son and you and whole family!! Did he make some 3's?? And it don't matter what division it is, it's big time stuff for your son and you, enjoy it, I know I would!! I know one thing, I don't know the name of your son's coach but I'm positive he is better than Josh,, this I can tell you!!

Good memory. They moved down in the 90s. Some serious talent came through Bill Battle Coliseum back in the day.

He's a freshman so the only 3s he makes are handing out 3s of gatorades to the starters. LOL

He's like "Nathaniel Root" this season
