Who cares they are all bad and UAB will smash any of them, especially in Birmingham. UAB won't be challenged until they play one of the other top 4.

Why do you set yourself up like that? And if we lose in our first round? To one of those teams that got through from the bottom? Making these bold, condescending statements makes you look like a *******. We've been good in basketball for about 3 seconds. We don't really have any business disparaging anyone.

RE: 8-9 seed question
WKU is a good basketball team they lead cusa in rebounding and play nasty D.
Rice has talent and has won 4/5.
FIU had a dominate big man.

I've seen enough UAB tournament games to know its never safe.

RE: 8-9 seed question
The only teams who I think have a near zero chance of pulling an upset against UAB are UTSA, FAU, and UNT. USM and Rice are questionable though.

WKU, FIU, Charlotte, UTEP, ODU, Marshall, MTSU, and LT can all beat UAB imo.

We beat UTEP by 7.
We won @ODU by 1.
We won @Charlotte by 2.
We lost @WKU by 7 and beat them at home by 4.
We beat Marshall by 3 and 4 points.
We beat FIU by 5 points.
We won @USM by 3 points.
We lost @LT by 9 points (they had insane 3 point shooting from all over the court near the end of the game)

As I said, I think any of the above teams including MTSU will be able to upset us and I'm expecting a lot of close UAB games throughout the tournament 03-razz.

My preferred games would be UAB vs Rice (or UNT if they can get that far) and then UAB vs MTSU in the next round though.

I didn't say Marshall would smash them, I said UAB would. So there's that. Also, they all have losing records in a conference that is horrible, so they are bad, that's just a fact.

We are not good at basketball. We are better than we were, but this conference is awful and therefore makes us look better than we are.

All your arguments about USM are useless as we are ineligible for the tournament due to Donnie Tyndal's actions when he was here. Hopefully next season we will be eligible again.
