Alright it's getting close to that time and the tournament should be wide open this year. Who all is planning on coming? Where are you planning on staying?

I'm in, but unfortunately can't go on Wednesday and can only go to the UAB game Thursday. Planning on both Friday.

Maybe. Not sure about scheduling. If we make it to semis and championship in ladies, then I will probably drive down. Otherwise, not enough free time.

Day by day for us and once Western loses we had back home. I know everyone is hoping to avoid UAB till the finials but I hope it's Western vs UAB in round two

My parents will be there, does that count?

Wide open?!?! What regular season have you been watching? They can put UAB on the trophy right now without fear of error even if it weren't in Birmingham. They are clearly the best team.

I'll be there and I will walk back to Norfolk if UAB doesn't win.

No it's open. Anyone can win these things.

I'll be there if we make the championship but otherwise won't be

I would agree that we are the favorite, but anything can happen. Lots of interesting matchups throughout the tournament.

I will be working 7-12's on nightshift two and half hours away north of Atlanta. If UAB makes the finals I will be running a serious sleep deficit from all the running back and forth.

I'll be there and will do a thorough preview for every single men's game despite what happens to UAB. I'll be tweeting out game updates and video (not live). I'll remind everyone when the tournament draws closer.

I'll be there starting Thurs (and hopefully through Sat).

Coming Wed for the girls portion of course. Staying at the HI in hoover. Once the schedule is out will plan on the 2 musts. Eating at Hot and Hot and at least one round at Oxmoor even if its just the short course.

I agree, if i stay in bham only 3 areas i consider. Hoover, the state farm parkway area and the Summitt area.

Pretty sure I was in Hoover and traffic SUCKED
