MyBB What seed can your team attain?
With 8 days left in the regular season, a lot can still happen.

In the CUSA Tournament ODU can achieve 4th. seed.

If you are asking about the NCAA's; since Lunardi has UAB as a 15 seed, I suppose anybody else would be a 20 seed with a play-in game in Manchester, England.

I'm asking neither. There's a link you're welcome to click on that gives some scenarios.

Rice fans hope you are wrong about that Number 8 seed, which feeds into UAB if we get past the Number 9 seed. Everyone wants 7, in order to avoid UAB as long as possible.

I can't wait to see Marcus Evans again. He is amazing.

I will give you most likely. We've gone from playing for first to probably being fifth or sixth and we'll get bounced in the first round of the tournament.

We haven't played well yet in February.

An amazing team that Rhoades has assembled. Going forward with Marcus Jackson healthy again, and the other Rhoades recruits contributing, this will be one of the top programs in C-USA.

Letcher-Ellis doesn't get the headlines as much as Koulechov and Evans, but, he's going to really good too.

That Tech game next week is huge.

That's why I said Team. Marquez Letcher-Ellis has shown streaks of brilliance, and I can't wait to see him add some weight to his game. Connor Cashaw is a third super freshman who is rapidly building confidence.

Rice could make some noise in this year's C-USA tournament. On a good night, I can see them as trouble for anyone but UAB.

RE: What seed can your team attain?
Tech can be 2nd but will be lucky to be top 4 with the way we have played on the road and recent injury to Erik McCree. Marshall is going to be a tough matchup and WKU is a road game so again it is tough to give Tech a great chance in that game: if Erik is healthyish then we have a shot but we have to go 3 and 1. Looking at the current layout, I really want the number 2 seed. Would prefer not having to face UTEP in quarters and UAB in semis. Going to be a fun finish.

Tech has one of the tougher remaining schedules. If McCree looks good tomorrow, I like their chances.

I'll be happy anywhere between 1-4 though I'd prefer #1 and lock up an NIT bid

If FAU and FIU tie, who finishes 11th and who finishes 12th? I think the winner of Saturday's game is probably 11th and the other team 12th. Although I wouldn't put it past either team to upset UAB or MTSU at home the final week.

RE: What seed can your team attain?
Forgot to add that MU seems to be a virtual lock for a bye, and that #4 is as likely as #1 (a total collapse by the Herd v. a total collapse by UAB). A win Saturday against MTSU (I think) guarantees a #3 and likely a #2. Win-out, MU can finish no worse than #2 (but would need the noted UAB collapse to win the conference title outright).

What a fun ride this has been - and a pleasant (pleasant) surprise after years of bouncing up and down without much post-season chatter to enjoy.
