We announce number of tickets distributed and then we ALSO announce actual butts in seats. Many times people either buy season tickets or mini ticket plans but dont attend ALL the games. Thats where the tickets distributed doesnt match actual attendance.... but the ticket was still sold and we received the income.
Yeah...that's why 11,000 fans didn't bother to use their paid tix for the biggest USF game in school history vs FSU.
As TV Philosopher George Costanza once said: "It's not a lie if you believe".

Actually the majority of people who didnt show were out of town and FSU fans who bought packages.... and that game was FAR from biggest game in USF history.
Our West Virginia win when they were top 10 was bigger... or maybe our win at Notre Dame at home was bigger, hell, id say our wins at Auburn or the win over Clemson during the bowl game was bigger.
But i wouldnt expect you to know anything about our program because youre just a troll.

Check out photos of, or better yet watch the youtube video of our 2007 game against WVU. Announced attendance was 67,000.
Try finding an empty seat in the house. I dare you.

Actually, most already know that answer.
Announced attendance for that game was 67,012 and multiple reports (including Voo Doo Five) noted that the actual attendance for that game was 61,664.
What is your next dare?

What is your next dare?
How many AAC schools have drawn over 61k in any game recently?

LOL, good comeback dude. At any rate, it was a well attended game and there were not very many empty seats, although I guess there were some.

Pretty certain well be over 60K again next year when FSU comes to town, the Navy game will be well attended.... and when we spank the community college from Orlando, I bet were up there again too.
I dont doubt at all our average attendance next year is closer to 40K with at least one above 60K.

"I'm very confident of where we sit and what we're doing," Bulls athletic director Mark Harlan said Friday.
"I'm not going to comment on any specific conversation that I have had with anybody in that particular conference,"(Big 12) Harlan said. "But suffice to say that I am always in contact with leaders in our industry and always will remain so."
"I did read that (Cincinnati Enquirer) article and I certainly respect that institution or any institution's approach," Harlan said. "But I do know that there are different ways of doing things, and I'm very confident in our strategy."
"When deck chairs start moving around again, if there is an again, it's so unpredictable that it's almost tireless effort to try to predict when those things come up," Harlan said. "So I've just decided that the best thing we can do is just focus on ourselves and rise to the things that I know would make us great if things happened again.
"We are serious about trying to add great value to (the American Athletic) conference. It's very important to me and this institution that we do so. But also, we're aspirational, as we should be. And if there are things that happen, we want to make sure that we're in the best position, despite the fact that maybe approaches to those things are different from institution to institution."
I love this conference. Every school is openly in full on get off of the Titanic mode.
