I hope WKU is not in ours. We just don't match up well with you guys. Johnson is the physical kind of big that we struggle with. He was killing us in the paint and on the boards.

We're getting it together, finally! I doubt we win the conference tournament (though Harper has coached two championships winning four games in four days), but we will send some teams home. I'd love to play UAB in tournament.

The Toppers were tougher than a two dollar steak. Helluva game. They'll be a tough out for somebody next week.

MT up 14-10 on MU with 14:40 left in the 1st half. Marshall just broke the school record for made 3's in one year.

Terrance Thompson is going to be good, he has turned into a 3-Dimensional player. He is getting stronger in the post and has worked on his free-throws.

Well, no one showed up, the fan base has checked out, and the chance at a regular season championship is lost. And likely any post season too.

That's how we roll.

Now that we got all the important games out of the way (and lost them) we can focus on winning much less meaningful games.

How is beating the second place team and moving to a tie not important? This is a huge game.

Because playing for second, third or fourth means nothing when you were in a great position to win a regular season title.

Hoops taking a page out of football's book by having a huge games at home, getting big promotion and laying eggs. You know the MT way.

The games that really mattered are behind us and we choked. So, yeah now that much less is on the line they're playing good. We just have a tradition of being a choke artist for the games that matter most (and playing good in games that have much less meaning) and the last couple of weeks have done nothing but provide more evidence. MT sports just feels like the consummate con-artist. That was the point. I thought you would get that.

What a lame ass reply. If we aren't in first place it's not worth anything? Not even gonna bother. That means there are what, 12 or 13 teams lower than us in the standings if we're second? How far have we come this year? It's ridiculous to say it's a worthless game if we aren't in first place.

Marshall cuts the lead to 6 50-56. James Kelly with another Double-Double and Ryan Taylor, after sitting most of the First Half, has 12 points.

I don't know what more annoying the Mr Grinch sounding arena announcer or the 2 homer MTSUers calling the game. Actually its the Grinch. I wish he'd just sing the damn song already.

Call it lame ass all you want. Fact is when the games that matter most in February rolled around we played terrible. This team isn't playing in the post season unless they win the conference tournament (or pay to play), so I guess you can poke your chest out high all you want while the team is sitting at home with no postseason and no championship.
