Saw an article in a recent Houston Chronicle about Prairie View A&M's plans to build an on-campus stadium. It highlighted the success new coach Willie Simmons had in his first season posting a 9-2 record. He was the offensive coordinator at Alcorn State. They are an offensive team with a red-shirt senior quarterback who threw for 21 TDs last year. They look much more dangerous than Wagner.

Willie Simmons was up for the S Miss job.

It's good to hear that PV can compete. I'd hate to see us embarass them. Thier Houston alums should be there in pretty good number. It should be a good game environment

Cant wait to play PV, a powerhouse like Wagner. Why don't we play Katy High School?

Just checked. Our schedule days we play Prairie View that weekend.
Katy's probably got a schedule conflict on that date anyway.
