RE: Kessler Taking on a new Role
What an adjustment. Best wishes to Kessler.

Don't think I've ever heard of someone getting so many concussions in b-ball and in someone that tall! Good that she made the decision. Head trauma such an issue in the military and in sports, hopefully research breakthroughs on treatment and prevention of long term effects are in the near future.

We had a guy who played in the 80s, forward, had a lot of potential, had to quit after a series of concussions. Anyone recall? I think he played his fresh year and no more.

Was that Shon Smith. I remember he only lasted a season, bit can't remember why.

May well have been. I reviewed all the players and he's the only one that fits.

An article in the local said Shon Smith chose Toledo over .... Kansas. Wow.
