It doesn't look like it will be the matchup of elite teams people were hoping for.

This always seems to happen when they finally get around to playing one another, elite teams that is. One is almost always a little down when the day comes.

But, I'm not going to make a prediction. It's college football and anything can happen, which is what makes this all fun.

I don't think we will see a three in a row event ever again, or at least not for a long time. The level of competition is much higher today.

I would not say that...As a fan of both teams. USC severely under performed the last two years with the talent on the roster. A lot of that was youth in key positions, injuries, and bad coaching. And I'm by no means saying USC has better talent than Alabama does but it's not Bama vs UMASS.

- Two 900 yard rushers return with the leading being a freshman who got less carries.
- Arguably the best WR in college football this year JuJu Smith
- The QB situation should not be too much of an issue with Max Brow
- The OL and DL should be pretty decent next year also.

I expect Alabama to win but I would not be surprised if USC is a lot better than people think.

I wouldn't call it ugly. But I would say that the image it evokes is something you wouldn't exactly call "manly". Personally, I thought the crystal football was ugly.

Hard to say. Kelly tends to screw up in grand fashion so it may be hard to do so.
