Going into today's game Proctor was fielding .905 with 2 errors, Meyers was fielding .889 with 1 error, and Gray was fielding .778 with 2 errors.

HBP, single by Ryan and FC makes it 4-2. E4 on FC puts runners at 2nd and 3rd and leads to pitching change. A sidewinding righty...great!

Dayne is 3-3 with rbi single! 4-3 still no outs. Another mound conference! And pitching change. Another lefty.

Can't blame the weather as it doesn't seem to be bothering our opponents.

I don't get it. What is going on? There are seriously little league teams that field better than us.
Edit: at least we are hitting better of late.

Charlie greats the new pitcher with an rbi single up the middle. 4-4!

It does look like we have a little more fight in us this year, and a decent amount of pitching depth. Fix the fielding issues and we may be okay.

I think you can trace the downfall of our infield fielding abilities to 2012 when Mike Taylor went from coaching the infielders to handling the pitchers after Pierce took the Sam job.

Is there no one on the staff now capable of hitting grounders to infielders? Only half joking.

Of our 3 errors tonight only 1 was a ground ball. The other 2 were an errant pickoff and an overthrow from C to 2nd base.

Ryan singles over the leaping Ortega with 1 out in the 6th. And then steals 2nd!

Walk of Teykl brings another pitching change. Righty. Runners at 1st and 2nd with one out.

He's a true freshman. Went 5-15 with 2 doubles and HR this weekend against Washington State. The HR was in the first AB of his career.

I'm impressed. The 1st pitch of the game rip over 3rd was well stroked.

His (Ortega) bio says that we recruited him.

Dayne scorches one to third for a 5U-3 double play. Too bad.

6-4 going to T7. Otto in to pitch.

E5 to open the 7th. Throw was low but I think Tekyl should have had it.
