Personally I think that would be a great move for the ACC.

I, for one, think it's very important to know where the dealmakers in the ACC are at all times. You don't happen to have a list of all the future cities they're planning on going to, do you?

Would love for it to happen but it's more likely they were here in some capacity for the Final Four.

I am calling it Memphis and Houston to the ACC. I can't imagine being in a conference without reading shere khan's witty jabs on this message board. So where ever Houston, I want Memphis there as well.

Why not everyone to the ACC? That way all 12 games can be conference games, and you still wouldn't play everyone in a 4 year cycle.

RE: ACC Brass....
As I have stated many times on this board. UCONN is not likely to be in play for the ACC as long as Swofford is around. He dream has always been to get the ACC in the Texas Market. Have not heard anything in ACC land, but looking at Swofford's history, nothing surprises me.
I would predict the following if there are any legs to this rumor.
Fact - If ND chooses to join, they get a say on who is the 16 team if one has not been offered by the ACC.
Fact - If ACC grabs a 15 team, ND gets first option to join as full member.
(?) - Does ND get to stay in the conference if the ACC went to 16 in football and ND stays indy?
If ND volunteers to join, Navy will more than likely be their partner.
If ACC goes to 16 without ND, Houston and (most likely Cinci for the Ohio market with Memphis/SMU as backup choices)
Again, I don't see it happening but I do believe Houston would be a great add to the ACC. Much like I always thought Louisville was a good fit.

They held there nose for Louisville, absolutely no way they do it for Houston never mind Memphis. No offense but the ACC is full of a lot of academic oriented presidents.

The ACC is interested in one school in Texas and had meetings with them before the B12 GOR went down. However, this school has their own network and likes burnt orange.

RE: ACC Brass....
Could be Houston and Cincinnati as 15 and 16, along with Texas as a partial member like Notre Dame. Launch ACC Network with inventory from those 3 new teams. 16 for football, 18 for basketball, etc.
...nah!

ACC fanboys are the worst. Thank God we have our own realignment expert topcoog here. He knows way more than this guy.
Seriously though, can we do a better job of not bringing the realignment loonies to our board? The realignment board is a cesspool of nutjobs, group of 5 haters and other miserable types. We do not want to recreate that disaster zone here.

you could well see some kind of quad system with Houston headed to the ACC.

Yes, the ACC would love Houston because it covets national TV basketball games with 423 people in attendance, counting the band, cheerleaders, referees and ball boys.
