I think these guys have reached a level where coaches shouldn't worry that much about the players' psyches. These are all highly skilled but relatively inexperienced players. They come from programs where they were probably the star of their HS or juco team, so they didn't get much criticism. The standards are higher now and the guys need to understand that. Whether they're "shown up" shouldn't come into the discussion in any serious way.
