Last top 25 ranking:

Memphis ranked 19th in men's basketball in both polls.

When does it happen again?

I've got midway through the 2018-19 season.

Midway through the season? So we're gonna have a coach that is going to coach up a team and actually improve their ranking during the season? Sign me up for that.

RANKINGS LAST 14 SEASONS

Year Preseason - Final

2015-16 NR - NR (I'm guessing)
2014-15 NR (15 votes) - NR
2013-14 13th - NR (101 votes)
2012-13 17th - 19th
2011-12 11th - NR (59 votes)
2010-11 19th - NR (7 votes)
2009-10 NR - NR
2008-09 13th - 3rd
2007-08 3rd - 2nd
2006-07 14th - 5th
2005-06 12th - 3rd
2004-05 24th - NR
2003-04 NR (12 votes) - 24th
2002-03 NR (2 votes) - 19th

Remember when the Pastner Possee used to talk about how bad Calipari was in '05? 03-lmfao Pastner's teams started out ranked 4 out of 7 years and finished not ranked 6 out of 7. Went down every year with the possible exception of the first one.

Well, according to some posters with idiotic tendencies, how could we possibly ever in a million years get a coach with as good of a record as Pastner has.

Cal had one bad year because of Sean Banks. The rest of the time his teams showed an uptick all the way to 2008. I frankly got tired of bringing this up to Stammers and that bunch. The Pastner brigade still uses this while they are coming up for air
